Theater operators, such as Caesars Entertainment (CZR) , MGM Resorts International (MGM) or Wynn Resorts (WYNN) , will sign entertainers for as few as a handful of shows to hundreds for the most popular acts.Related: Las Vegas Strip casino brings back sensational singer residencySome headliners have even become permanent fixtures at certain hotel casinos. 1970s superstar singer Barry Manilow has one of the longest running residencies with his record-breaking run at the International Theater in the Westgate Las Vegas off the Strip.In September 2023, Manilow broke Elvis Presley's record of 636 sold-out shows at the International Theater in the Westgate Las Vegas off the Strip, which was known as the International Hotel in 1969 when Presley first performed there.The "I Write the Songs" singer will continue performing his residency well into next year.
